The Business for the Environment (B4E) Global Summit was held at the Shangri-La Hotel at Jakarta from 27 to 29 April 2011. As the world’s leading international conference for dialogue and business-driven action for the environment, the B4E Global Summit plays an important role in addressing urgent global environmental and climate issues. Themed “Delivering Transformative Solutions for our Planet”, the summit drew up to 900 participations from around the world and the Guest-of-Honour for the event was President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono of the Republic of Indonesia.

Hitachi participated as a Supporting Partner for the B4E Global Summit 2011 and Mr Kiyoshi Kinugawa, Chief Executive for Asia, Hitachi, Ltd., also participated as a panel speaker for the “Water Management Solutions” Working Group on 28 April.
