Tokyo, January 6, 2021\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 On January 1, 2021, Hitachi Automotive Systems, Ltd., Keihin Corporation, Showa Corporation and Nissin Kogyo Co., Ltd. concluded management integration to form Hitachi Astemo, Ltd., a leading provider of mobility solutions to the automotive industry. The name \u201cAstemo\u201d is derived from the words \u201cAdvanced Sustainable Technologies for Mobility\u201d and describes the mission of the integrated company to \u201cprovide a safe, sustainable and comfortable mobility life through technologies that contribute to an advanced and sustainable society\u201d.<\/p>\n
